Jean Marie McNamara

A long time ago, in a town outside of Chicago, Jean Marie enlisted in the Army as an E-1 and served for 6 years in the Illinois Army National Guard. As a combat medic, she has removed ticks from Privates and Generals, and the privates of some generally embarrassed soldiers. She received her commission through OCS and earned the Gold GAFPB, whilst attending COBC.

In addition to degrees in biology, chemistry, art. and a diplôme from Cordon Bleu, she can also whistle a tune. Jean has a passion for art, in all its forms. When she isn’t traveling, or spending time with her family, she can be found adding to her extensive collection of unfinished craft projects.

A strong believer in “adopt-don’t shop” she pampers her two rescue dogs: Gigi and Charlie. She is on a lifelong quest to find the perfect cuppa’ hot chocolate and hopes to grow the patient advocacy work she does, in tandem with her mother, and the fabulous staff of PodcastDX.
